ConstructionThe concrete float comprises expanded polystyrene protected by 25mm of concrete.
Construction
We make our own floats in moulds which ensures a smooth surface - four fixing bolts are cast into the top surface. This form of construction ensures permanent floatation, as the core material is a closed cell, absorbing water up to a maximum of 5% by volume.
We can also supply steel cages for further protection to the concrete floats if and when required.
