Eastlands Boatyard have placed the order for Solent Marine to prove the 50 pontoons, piling works and all ancillary products.  We would like to personally thank Tim Hiscock for the order and look forward to installing the pontoons early in the new year!
Solent Marine Ltd has completed the first phase of the works for Furlong Homes.  As the 3D View below.  Pictures will be on the web shortly!  The second phase has been completed in terms of manufacture and are looking to install at the beginning of September.

Solent Marine has finally managed to break the mould at Cardiff,  Cardiff Harbour Authority has opted for Solent Marine to supply their new Water Taxi Berth on the River Taff.  The new pontoon system will be situated just by the City Centre in Bute Park. Working as the sub contractor to Wrekin Construction we look to complete the project week commencing the 12th of September.

Solent Marine has won the national procurement contract to supply all of Marina Developments T Section Cradles, after a long tendering period Dan McKiernan - Chatham Maritime Marina Manager has recently placed the order for the group and we are currently manufacturing the cradles.  "It has been a great experience to work with MDL to supply them with our specifically designed cradles, it is one of my personal achievements with Solent Marine to gain this award"  said Marc Simmonds Commercial Manager.

Harbour Master Geoff Lane has come to Solent Marine for additional pontoons to be on chain and anchor moorings, delivery date for the beginning of July.

Marina Manager Tim Aitkenhead flew down to Solent Marine's factory on the South Coast to confirm the costs for there new extention for an extra 33 Berths, in total Dunstaffnage are purchasing 15 new 2.5m x 12m Pontoons and 22 in no 1m x 10.5m Fingers.  All to be be delivered by Mid July.

 

Hampstead Homes have placed the order to Solent Marine to build them there 60 Berth Marina, the completion date is set for the end of September 2005.

Whitehills Marina have come back to Solent Marine to supply them with 3 heavy duty 2.5m pontoons adapted to support the environmental conditions and vessel that will be moored to the units.  Completion date will be in the beginning of May.
Solent Marine were the only choice for the supply and installation of 250 linear metres of new 2m wide pontoons here on the Hamble River.  As we are based on the Hamble River it was only the natural choice for the Crown to come to Solent Marine, we are teaming up with Baker Trayte to do the piling works and look to complete by the end of April beginning of May.

 Solent Marine were successful in winning the contract to supply Torbay Harbour with their long awaited visitors pontoons.  The design of the system as always is complicated as we are looking to attach a new bridge to an existing platform and supply universal wall columns to a raked wall.  The works will be completed by the end of April.
