In order to provide the best possible value, we carried out a detailed survey of the existing structures to determine how much could be re-used. We then designed a new layout incorporating 3 metre wide pontoons. These pontoons were fitted with gas, fuel and sewage pumps and an operator cabin for the service berths. We supplied well over 100 units including bridges, a fuel berth and fingers.
Torbay Harbour Authority
This access bridge was required to act as a slipway for dinghies launching from the landing stage at all tide states. The problem posed by the tidal fall required a solution in the shape of an access bridge 27 metres long and 2.5m wide - weighing in at a hefty 6 tonnes! We also designed a landing stage equipped to take the loading of this very large access bridge.
